What grease?

Want to regrease my wheel bearings (cartridge) and bottom bracket bearings. What grease is the cheapest, most effective method.

Cheapest = hair
Most effective = I like Finish Line Teflon Grease (http://www.finishlineusa.com/products/fortified-grease.htm)

I use copper grease.
Finish Line Teflon Grease is also good.

Looks like Finish Line Teflon, then. What's the business end like on the tube? Would I need a screw on type grease gun, or does it have a nozzle?

I use lithium grease from B&Q seems fine

you can get specific bearing grease but it's quite pricey. Finishline Teflon grease will do a good enough job though. I like simple Castrol lithium grease for lubing nuts and bolts so they don't rust

I usually put it on manually. It's good stuff and my tubes (despite taking a regular beating) seem to last years.
