Might sound like a daft question but I was wondering what happens if someone purchases a Tacx turbo trainer and subsequently finds within the warranty period at a later date it develops a fault?.

I know that for instance if you purchase say.....a Maglite torch of any kind and it develops a fault, you can take the torch to any approved Maglite dealer and they will arrange for repair or replacement. It doesn't have to be the same Maglite dealer that you purchased the item from. As long as you have proof of purchase and its within warranty, the dealer will honour the warranty.

Is it the same for Tacx?. I suppose I should really ask on their forums.

It's just that I can save money by purchasing a Tacx Flow trainer mail order from elsewhere other than my local area but I see quite a few of my LBS' proudly say they are "Tacx approved dealers". So does the Maglite analogy come into play here does anyone know?.

Ta.

You could email them, but when I did, cos I wanted to buy a part for my rollers, they never replied:angry:
