I'll be honest, the only reason I'm starting this thread is so I can say I posted the first post in the re-opened* "Politics and Current Affairs" forum 10 minutes ago. Sadly can't think of too many notable firsts after that.....

So what's a thing you've been first at?

*at least I think it's reopened, though there's a chance it was left open in the early Sunday morning hours by mistake, and then my post may disappear and I'll look like I'm making this up.
I think i may have been the first to get suspended from it, Unless someone out there knows different:okay:.

Yes I think it was a mistake that allowed me to post..... Interstingly for me it looks like the thread is open to post still as well.

I am a little confused about how you managed to post a new thread in politics and current affairs. When we now have news and current affairs which has the exact same subject.
I tried replying to your post but was told I didn’t have the correct privileges.

It's not showing as locked to me, but in the bottom right of your message I see this:

I do as well. I now wish I'd posted something much more controversial, or something along the lines of "Everything I post is 100% correct. If you disagree post a response...".

The teacher claimed we came 2nd and gave the prize to his "pet".
60 years on and I still remember the barsteward.
