well today i have finally thrown quite a few prs of essex pants (Next) away as they had lost a lot of there colour over the years ( about 10yrs) , these have all been very supportive and have handled every situation that has come or blown along very well , i nearly shed a tear but thought best not do .

so fellow cc'ers what have you thrown away

Work shoes that I replaced with a new pair yesterday, due to the soles having split completely.

Half filled a skip over two days.Unwanted contents of garage,shed and greenhouse plus five battered fence panels.Funny thing i was enjoying a cuppa early morning when i heard a loud engine noise outside,two lads dealing in scrap were eyeing the contents of said skip,they saw me looking and asked if the old wheelbarrow was being scrapped,they took it when i replied it was.

Dang beat me to it , binned a 4 month old gator skin after i had to do an emergency stop onto a patch of gravel locking the back wheel and scrubbing the tyre down enough to see the mesh pattern underneath with a couple of holes right through it.

Paris Hilton - out of ahot air balloon! I finally dumped a wine bottle stopper in the shape of a deer's head that the inlaws gave me for Christmas. (Like I need a stopper...)

Couldn't bring myself to chuck it out straightaway, but it's been in the way for eight months now, so I think that's enough.

You could maybe use 'em as rags for cleaning/ lubing your chain perhaps? That's what all my old shreddies end up doing. Old toothbrushes too.
