What I am missing with this BBC story about someone slipping in Lidl?

The story says
"Waheed Iqbal, 36, claimed he "banged his head and body" in a Lidl store in Bradford.
CCTV footage showed Iqbal gradually easing himself to the floor before flagging down a fellow shopper."

But the video in the story shows someone, um, falling over and banging their head and body...

You are missing the point that he has had a history of making bogus claims. This obviously went against him in court.

Bearing in mind it's a low frame rate video that wasn't a proper fall. He did seem to ease himself into it. He had history anyway.

Working in retail I had a few people trying it on. Caught them out straight away.
