What is it with some drivers!?

I was cycling down Broad Street in Birmingham this morning and it was reasonably busy but not too busy that the cars can't get down there pretty fast.

I got overtaken (even though I was quite far out) really close by a chap in a green land rover! It was close enough for me to shout "oi" and wave my arm at him a bit!

.... that's not what got me though - what got me was a few metres after overtaking me he indicated to turn left into a car park.

For those of you that know it it's a strange kind of entrance to the carpark - like a drive over the pavement (just before Lee Longlands on the opposite side) and there were loads of people walking over it - not unexpectedly as it was just the normal office workers walking along to the pavement making their way into work.

Anyway - twat features decides that he should have to wait for these "idiot pedestrians" so he ploughs through them bibbing his horn and shouting abuse at one of the blokes!

Cheeky sod - I don't know where he gets off!

From my experience, it would appear that the long arm of the law (with very few exceptions) is now nothing but a mere little stubby bit with an elastoplast stuck on the end.

Yep that's the way it's going. The Tories are massively cutting police budgets. Hampshire police have announced they will get rid of 20% of their work force which will include front line officers.

Get used to the cuts - we as a nation (even before the 'help' of the bankers) are spending more than we are earning. Sad but true.

Undoubtedly true but what is sad is that our lords & masters seem to think that we should supply vast funds on fighting other people's wars, propping up other countries' economies (China? FFS!) rather than spending funds on sorely needed areas on our own doorstep. It truly is breathtaking to watch as things decline. Ever since I started voting (some considerable time ago now!) every incoming government has pledged an increasing crack down on lawless behaviour. Absolutely none has delivered.

With so many people now offended by said plonk it would be amusing if his car tyres were slashed, as everyone knows where he parks, LMAO! Some people are stupid. Clinically stupid.
