What is the best time for buying CX bike?

Last year in december I got a good price on a new Giant Roam that was a 2013 model.
Now I'm considering to buy a Merida Cyclo Cross 500 and I wonder if there is any time of the year when it is more convenient to buy a new CX bike.

New models come out in September, best time is probably spring, but it really varies by company, retailer etc

If you want to do CX however, now as it's a winter sport

I'm more after a road bike that can be used off-road.
And btw I'm not skilled for doing CX as a sport. With a lot of practice maybe...

Looks like that's a 2015 model, recently launched. So unless your retailer has a special promotion or is prepared to haggle with you, it may not be reduced until next summer. If at all, not all bikes come down in price

But it's only 55cm. Fine, if that's your size.

At the moment I'm planning to buy it and waiting for a couple of months wouldn't be a problem.
And btw even full price the 500 seems a good bike. I'll try to pass by the LBS and have a go.
