What is the point of 'k'?

Is there any point to 'k'?

  • Yes. Definitely. The alphabet would be a sorry place without 'k'.

  • No. It's a do-nothing-wastral and probably claims phonetic state benefits to boot.

Meh, get rid of W. U (and v interchangeably) took its place in classical Latin. We don't need it, and it's a right mouthful to say its name double-you! At least change its name to "wuh" like we called it in primary school.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
Cold and damp out so the pair of us have been discussing the possibility of a 25 letter alphabet ilo a walk (or possibly walc).

We can't see that 'k' does anything that 'c' can't do instead.

C is too indecisive.

It spends half its time pretending to be S and half pretending to be K. C should concentrate on doing the only thing it's really any good at, and that's pairing up with H to make ch. It should leave the essing to S and the kaying to K.

And it should change its name to chee.

SpoceyDocey, not sure if it has the same impact.

I tells ya what grinds my gears about K.

Its when businesses or products arem deliberately mispelled with a K to be kool.

And the KKK. Less said about them the better.

And Count Von Bismarck. A C and a K. Greedy sod.

And that Peter K. About as funny as a dose of the squits.

Km. Low calorie miles for Europhiles.

Nothing good ever came from K. Not even Special K.
