If you can look past the terrible writing/translation, can anyone explain to me how Audi actually went through with all of this and reached this stage without at any point realising "wait ... this is the most stupid thing ever"? Do you think anyone involved in this project has at any point in their life ridden a bike?

But maybe I'm wrong, maybe downhill MTBers have been crying out for electric assist bikes with broken suspension, tiny cranks and no saddle and I just missed it.
