Don't have favourites but. Shameless plug for my friend Jim, the 'star' of this ad.
At the time, a rugby player who happened to have a job 'attending to the driving needs' of a female Art Director etc...and one thing led to another.
(We all used to look like that but he was the only one with wimpy enough thighs to fit the product

I presume this thread is inspired by the 'updated repeat' of the 100 Greatest Ads that was on the telly last night.
I expect the Guinness ad with the horses in the sea won again....far too many funny and clever ones to choose from, but for pure nostalgia it has to be that Yellow Pages ad....
You're not still on about this bike are yer? I remember when bikes were bikes...Campag Delta brakes and an Avocet on the handlebars, LOOK at that steerer, it's like sitting in front of a scaffold pole, maybe next year, aye. How d'yer get on love? I found one; St John Street Cycles, said they'd post it at the weekend.........................I were right about those spacers though!
