A small jar of coffee as the two little sachets that Travelodge/Premier Inn/Ibis/Holiday Inn leave in the room is only enough for a single cuppa. As compensation I take home all the little sugar sachets with me for use on cereal.

Although they all seem to have own brand shower gel & shampoo in the bathrooms these days, I still take my own 'just in case'

Some of them will give you an extra handful if you ask
they just put a few out as they tend to get nicked

Nail cutters. I cannot stand having wicks.
I started carrying nail clippers back in my fellwalking days after an incident at the Kings Head in Kettlewell one bank holiday weekend.

The bathroom was quite large, and the loo was opposite the door and set back quite a long way. Half way along the walk from the door to the loo was a small 1" step in the floor, and one morning I went bowling in there and stubbed my toe on it, smashing a toenail to bits.

I couldn't get my sock on for all the blood and bits of nail, so there was I sat on the bed trying to trim off what was left of the nail with my BIC razor.

...and then when I had clippers there was this incident.

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Something for the weekend.
That reminds me...

My local barber used to offer 'something for the weekend, sir?' to every customer except me. I suppose it looked obvious that I would not be needing anything! It is probably a good thing, because at the time, I had no idea what the 'something' was and would probably have embarrassed myself by asking!
