What kind of bottom bracket is this and how do I change it?

What kind of BB is this? I tried using a standard crank puller but as the centre is hollow it had nothing to push against. What tool would I need?

looks like an octalink. some say putting a 5p coin in the hole for the bb tool to push against works, i ended up with bent 5p coins and a trip to the lbs…

It's an Octalink V2. An Octalink crank extractor will do nicely. Best not faff about with washers or coins because if if goes wrong you can end up in a world of pain

There is a "mushroom" to fit into the hole and give the extractor something to pusg against.
