as per my intro post, I found a big crack in the frame of my Dahon Cadenza so I'm looking into getting a replacement built with the parts (I neither have the know-how nor the facilities to do it myself).
I have started looking for a MTB frame on ebay, preferably something sturdy, maybe with a funky paint job (I don't want another black bike).

2 questions:
1) what should I go for? I quite like the look of Orange frames (Clockwork, P7) and some of the older Konas (e.g. Lava Dome). Anything else I should consider?
2) What should I look for in terms of compatibility? Anything other than head/seat tube size and whether it has v-brakes hubs?
