Would you carry co2 canisters aswell or just a pump I've been looking at the top peak pocket rocket aswell that looks a decent size

The pumping action is easy on the arm but things can get noticeably sticky at about 150 strokes when attempting to rejuvenate a 700x23 tube, the number of pumps that will put anything from 65 to 80 PSI in the tyre, just enough at the top end to get you home or benefiting from a top-up with a CO2 canister, but if you have the gumption to push on through another 50 strokes you'll reach a more rideable 100 PSI, it can be an effort and by jimminy, does the pump get warm at the the valve end, wear gloves'''
so that's 200 pumps to get to 100psi.............yeah right

who cares .. they weigh zilch.! ....i carry 2 inners and 5 12g caps
use the pump up to say 15psi to check for a pinched tube
then 1 unthreaded 12g capsule [cheap] will take you up to about 90psi at the touch of a button
or a threaded 16g cap up to about 110psi

you can actually just carry the head and 16g threaded caps if you want
ps head does both valve types
