Seen as link on Facebook, apparently classic 70s 10 speed, I think, doing this on my phone, but anyone know anything about those wheels?

I came across this while looking at the web site of a bike museum somewhere in northern Europe but I can't remember where exactly. It's evidently not a new idea.

I did notice the new tyres though are they cos nobody is brave/stupid enough to ride it.

Shame it is in America because that is quite a good frame. Take away those silly wheels and put a decent saddle on it, it would be a good bike. It looks like it could be a 1977 model according to this site---http://sheldonbrown.com/retroraleighs/record.html
