I have started getting e - mails and mailshots for Royal Ascot. Don't ask me why, possibly as part of one of these 3rd party things*, but still, it does seem slightly odd.

What strange and random bits of mail do you receive for a specific things??

* - It could possibly be because I bought a ticket for an Equestrian event or two at the Paraolympics purely out of curiosity.

I keep getting stuff for some coffee club in London, but since I am not in London and don't drink coffee I ignore them.

Every time I log onto facebook, I get ads in Danish. I've never set foot in Daneland, though I've flown over it a couple of times.

I've been getting a few offers of marriage from Chinese ladies recently, some with a MOGOF offer of themselves (40ish) and their 21-23 yo daughter!!!

How could that possibly go wrong?

Hmmmm, in the days when I was a bit new to computers I made the mistake of checking out some sexy lingerie on Ebay. Little did I know that the items would feature in the "recently viewed items" list. So the next time Mrs Gti went on Ebay I got a rather sharp summons and a pointed finger: "What's THIS?"

Hah,
Back i the dark days of the internet, you know back when your modem suddenly started going "Boing!" when it connected (thanks v.92) we used to teach people how to clear their internet histories. i kid you not, 2-3 AM after the linux rush, (apparently 2-3 am is when linux users have had enough of trying to fix their own issue and ring us) we'd get sheepish sounding chaps ring us up and ask how to clear the internet histories etc. we'd tell em how. nowdays they'd tell you to get lost.
