Looks like a scarecrow festival, there was one near us last weekend, all sorts of strange worzels and dressed mannequins were to be found.

They weren't scarecrows just residents of the 'Monsell' out on a bank holiday.

I've seen a fake policeman like that before around Launceston - the locals put it there to deter speeding. Not sure if that's even legal, but it's been there for ages.
