Hi All I am new here so hope this is this the correct place. To begin I am looking at taking cycling up for a way to loose a few (many) pounds in weight . But I am not sure what bike to get I am looking at doing the London to Brighton and such cycling events as that but will need it for normal rides around my local area which have gravel tracks shown here (http://www.visitshefford.co.uk/afield/images/gardencitygreenway3-800.jpg). Any help would be appreciated and preferably do not want to spend a lot (under £400). As this is just the start and next year will upgrade if I successfully complete London to Brighton and Oxford to Cambridge.
