Hey, thanks for caring!
Unfortunately, largely due to the exchange rate and also largely due to our love of food and drink our travel account or 'bumfund' as I call it had pretty much run out by mid November. Kez had become increasingly homesick and decided she wanted to be home for Christmas, so that's what we've done.
We dossed around on the Algarve for a while, enjoying some fantastic late seasonal sunshine before cycling on round into Southern Spain where we stayed with a friend in Vejer de la Frontera for a week or so before boxing the bikes and flying into Stanstead. We both caught colds within two days of being home but have at least managed to find somewhere to live amidst the Christmas craziness.
I'd have loved to have carried on into Morocco and toughed the winter out there before returning home up the ugly med side of Spain and back through France where we both feel there is so much more to see, but it wasn't to be.
Apologies for abandoning the blog, I did keep a journal and will type it up and upload the rest of the pictures as soon as I get a connection in our new pad.
It was definitely the best 8 months of my life!
