What's happened to the bus lane on the A23 between Brixton and Kennington?

It's been a couple of weeks since I commuted by bike, and it's gone.

Or has it? The signs are still there.

It's made that junction up by the Oval even more unpleasant. More motor transport, fewer cycles.

No, they've surfaced it and do appear to have removed the bus lane at the Brixton end.

..and at the Kennington end. Is it a mistake, or is this mroe of Boris's urban motorways?
