What's HG50 / HG200 etc mean?

I'm attempting to source a replacement HG 50 cassette but finding that the 11-32 is no longer available. However I can find 11-32 cassettes with HG 200, HG201 and HG 400. Question is will these still fit the free hub that the HG 50 was on? I assume they are otherwise OK as replacements?
