bought some new cycle glasses as old ones fell apart.

I pedalled behind my 5 year old as she (erratically! ) offroaded her pink fixie - ok then - Barbie bike 2 and a half miles through the woods on her way home from school for the first time.
Not bad for someone who only lost the stabilisers last week and has never ridden further than the end of our front path before.
Was definitely the best thing today.
Here she is...no gears, one brake on a bike waaaaay too small for her...What a girl..:bravo::biggrin:

Was Riding home on my motorbike this evening, I was following a typical builder's van, when suddenly it slammed on the brakes and swerved out about 2 feet.

Missed a woman on a hybrid cycling along the side of the road by about an inch at most I suspect. She completely cacked herself.

Overtook, to see driver steering with his forearms, holding a PDA/text phone in both hands on the top of the wheel "prayer style" whilst texting or something.

Being riled by this, I was able to explain my view via the medium of shouting "You Stupid Khunt" through his open window, which seemed to give him a minor heart attack.

Made me feel better anyway. Twat.

Always good to twiddle a knob and have a play with a tool in bed eh?

I had a walk with my canine companion. We met three little pigs, looked at a waterfall, threw stones in the river, then strolled through some freshly cut fields before finding a new path through a field of wild orchids, scented some broom and gorse and listened to the birds singing. Oh, I saw a rainbow too! A pretty satisfying evening

Received the news that my cousin once removed - and one of my best friends - had become a dad this morning to a boy. And the boy is named after his grandad (deceased), my cousin. Are you all keeping up?

Felt great all day.

Here for rides.
asked a question in here and getting a very helpful answer in minutes closely tied with getting a local riding partner for most of a 100km run down in Cornwall in August.
