What's the most you've put yourself out to make it in to work?

Dragged myself in with bronchitis on two consecutive days for a job interview which they couldn't reschedule and of course ended up doing some work whilst I was there.

A couple of years ago I drove through the floods to get to work only to find that the meeting had been cancelled.

Missed the opportunity of a free flight anywhere that Virgin flew (plane overbooked) to get back to work on the allotted day. Boss said I should have taken the free flight and been a couple of days late.....otherwise,I have slept in my office during a train strike. If it ever snows I always cycle/walk to work and can never work out why those nearer to work (i.e. those who live in central & outer London) can't make it in.

Many years ago walked 5 miles into work,Through snow storm.

I cycled through heavy snow a couple of times earlier this year. I set off a bit earlier, used the MTB instead of road bike, and put my waterproofs on. Hardly a great imposition. Arrived at work to find that no-one else was there.
