I know forums are full of posts like this but I really am in a quandary. I'm looking to upgrade the stock Fulcrum 7's on my Merida Scultura 6000 to a set of carbon rims but I don't want to spend silly money and after spending hours looking online I've narrowed it down to the following -

1) Bax Carbon 38 MM costing £450
2) Zuus 38 MM costing £400
3) Nix 0.40 40 MM from Wiggle costing £400

I ride for recreational purposes and do quite a lot of commuting on reasonably flat terrain with fairly short hills. I weigh 68 kgs and I average about 80 miles a week.

Has anyone any experience of the Bax or the Nix wheels as I can't find any decent reviews online. I have read the previous threads on Zuus wheels or can anyone recommend any other wheels around this price range which I should consider.

Thanks

Why do you want deep section carbon wheels for recreation?

Save your money and pedal harder on the Fulcrums. Or you could get a great set of swift handbuilt recreational wheels for like 300 quid. BB
