Wheel Bearings

I’ve been fettling my old winter road bike today. The rear wheel feels a little rough and grinds so I’ve taken the ball bearings out, cleaned everything and repacked with grease, there is a slight improvement but not much. I would like to replace the ball bearings, any idea what size I would need?
The wheels are old 8 speed Shimano 105 hubs.

@netman would the front hub be the same 1/4” or 3/16”?

Can't find a doc for the front hub, but it's almost certainly gonna be 3/16" standard - if you have a vernier caliper, you can measure them to make sure...

No they look perfect to me.

Usually the cones go before the balls, swap the cones at the same time?
