When did my taste in rear derailleurs get so 'niche'?

It seemed a simple quest. All I want is a:

New
Silver
Top normal
9 speed
Long cage (34t sprocket)
Non-Shi**no

Bonus points for:

Robust
Hardworking
Utilitarian
Not expensive

I found a Micro shi*t but it didn't survive the bike falling off its kickstand (onto *grass*!) The alu retention bolt stripped. And it was very plasticky.

In the end i found one which was rated to 28t largest sprocket but works just fine.

Can you guess what it is?

My recommendation, and I’m currently running both of these, is:

Suntour Cyclone GT (1977)

Campagnolo Nuovo Record. (1984)

although I also run a Shimano Crane / Dura Ace from 1972 and find that quite good. ( better than the Campag, nowhere near the Cyclone)
