Go Outdoors historically has sold some decent value for money MTBs, might be worth a look (they often have some big discounts so Black Friday might represent an opportunity for something better for budget)

Cool ! Which models do you have ? And for what type of useage……?

I have the 7, which is a bit more than your budget but I really rate it. I use it mostly for off road bikepacking here it Scotland.

Ta !!

And Decathlon too - with their Triban (Formerly B-Twin) range.

Although keen to buy now: holding fire until Black Friday might turn up a better specced last years model somewhere…..

That TREK is better, still got shot forks, but you aren't going to get better for £500, when decent forks are £500 on their own.

If I genuinely believed £500 forks would increase my enjoyment of bumping down on odd curb: on the way to the flat riding paths round the back of the local church I’d have them…. 😉
