Which Bike Do you Think

Got the C2W vouchers and going to get one of these bikes. That will leave me with £160 for a few bits.


'm mainly on quiet country roads and a few hills, maybe just a bit of stoney cycle path.

Can't speak for the 2nd one, but I've been commuting on last years model Trek 7.2, and it's been great for me. I've only taken it down a canal tow path a couple of times, but on roads with pot holes it's fine.

Both seem to be similar so I cant see where you would go wrong. People may add a branding preference but that's all it would be.

I'm the oppsite: never ridden the trek but I have no complaints about the sirrus. I put on 23 & 25c (narrow) tyres cos I only road miles.

Garz is right, they are really quite similar in terms of spec so the best bet is to try them both out, one will feel better and thats the one that you choose.
