Which bike to buy?

Hi,

I am currently debating which bike to buy and have narrowed it down to either the Dawes Giro 300 or the B'TWIN triban 3. Any suggestions on what I should go for, or even any suggestions for something different. I have about £400 to spend.

Just bought the T3 and although I have nothing to compare it to as its my first road bike I absolutely love it and it's a great pleasure commuting on it. 14 mile round trip mostly on road in all weathers so far and bike has been great

Well I am in the same position., looking for first road bike for under £350. So rather than staring a new thread, I will join in. So here is what I have looked at so far.

Have been trying to buy the btwin, but seems like they are out of my size, which is a bit annoying. Will probably go with the Dawes, also thought about a Claud Butler but reviews were not great. Cheers for the help so far.

Neither.

For that money you can almost get a giant defy.

It will hold it value better and the frame is the same thru the range (exc defy 1) so future parts upgrades make sense.

See if you can get a bit more cash or look at ebay.
