Which Brake Pads?

I'm still running the stock pads in the Shimano R450 calipers on my commuter. What I have noticed in this $hitty weather is that the pad compound gets mashed very quickly.

What pads would anyone recommend to replace them with and give longer life?

Cheers

Koolstop are very highly rated. I've had my dual compound ones a long time. Expensive though. Going to try OBE pads next time as have read some very encouraging reports.

I kind of knew Koolstops would come up, but there seems to a ton of choices with them. I guess I need THESE to start with, then if I want dual compound I presume THESE will fit the blocks from the first link?
