They're all pretty close in terms of spec the main differences are in the chainsets and brakes.

The F85 seems to be the best of the bunch, good shifters (but not a super wide a range of gears) and chainset and carbon forks on an aluminium frame, nothing unusual or extraordinary about this bike, a fairly typical road bike.

The boardman looks nice and has carbon forks, it has sram apex which offers a wide range of gear ratios with a double chainring, no problems getting up hills with this bike , but if hills aren't your concern then you might find the extra low gear options useless or unnecessary.

The specialized Allez is much the same as the other two, it does offer a wide range of gear ratios with a triple chainring, however the sora shifters might not be to your liking.

I can recommend trying before buying..

I have the boardman and I love it. originally I wanted the 2010 with 105 gearset but after having a ride of the 2011 with sram I preferred the shifters. have a ride of all 3 I'd you can.

I run the C2W scheme for our company - is it the Halfords C2W scheme that you're using? If it is, although you can call the special order line and try to get them to source any brand of cycle, you're best actually giving them a call to see what they can get hold of and in what timeframe. It's a bit different than just using the Halfords voucher at a different supplier. If it's not the Halfords C2W you may struggle to get the Boardman as I think Halfords will only deal with their own scheme. I'm perhaps a little biased as I own a Team Carbon and have a CX Team due Friday, but I'd be +1 for the Boardman. Was seriously considering that instead of the CX this year, there just isn't quite enough heel clearance for me to get a rack on the back for the commute. In my opinion they're the most bike for the money you can get. Just make sure you give it a thorough going over before you take it out to check everything's been tightened and set up properly. Great bikes but there's a serious inconsistency in the quality of Halfords mechanics.

I got a 2010 Team Carbon on the C2W & love it to bits!

I'd go with the Boardman; fantastic value for money IMHO! Just collect it boxed and build it y'self or take it to a trusted LBS!
