Which Rose Cyclocross Bike ?

Hello, I need a winter bike. I've narrowed down my selection to two bikes from Rose. The Cross Pro Rs 2000 and Pro DX Cross 2000... I cant decide which one to buy. They're similar.. except one has canti brakes the other disc brakes. The canti brake bike is 1kg lighter.

I will run either of the bikes with 52/36 chainset. The frame sizing is slightly different and I suppose so is the geometry.

Which one should I get ? Which is the better bike.

You won't get that bike before winter is over. Rose is extremely slow in that respect. I had to wait more than 5 months for one and in the end, another delay forced me to cancel it.

Hi TM. I've just received my Rose. They are usually on a 6 week lead time + a week for Quality Assurance (testing) and delivery. Finlay (UK rep) will be able to give you a good current estimate if you drop him a line. Also once you place the order you get an accurate delivery date within a few days and they don't take any money from you until the bike is built.

Which one should I get ? Which is the better bike.

Neither is better. The choice comes down to you and whether you want a slightly lighter bike with cantis, or a slightly heavier bike with disks.
