What do you take? Also I need advice on purchases for these. I need tyre levers, pump, ( hand pump or co2 pump ), inner tubes. What else would you take?

you definitely need an inner tube (or two) and tyre levers, and a pump, as an absolute minimum
also, a CO2 pump with cylinders is handy, as is a multi tool that has allen keys in the most common size
if you are really keen (and cycling long distance or have a poorly maintained bike) you might want to consider a larger multitool, with chain spliter and spoke keys etc on it as well as allen keys. You'd also need a spare chain link for your given chain
this is a nice multi tool: (not too big and heavy but has most things on it)

If over 10 miles then same but 2 inner tubes, emergency sticky patches, multi-tool, chain links.
That covers you for most things. Easier in the winter or on the commute as everything is always in the rack bag, but summer club rides then I can usually get that all in my back pockets with a rain racket and my phone-wallet thingy.
If touring then probably some spare spokes too and more tubes.

Topeak II multi tool, dog bone style multi spanner, spare innertube, set of rubber gloves, small puncture kit. spare chain link.
all in my frame bag.
pump mounted next to bottle.
i still have room for other kit so can possibly pop in some more inners if i wanted. there's room to bob all my lights in the bag when i stop at least if i want them out of sight.

1 Topeak multitool (includes chain tool).
1 KMC quick link. (used one recently. must get more)
A few links of chain (left over from chain change).
A few cable ties.

My road bike has a saddle bag with a Swiss Army Knife, two tubes, patches, gloves, spare batteries for the rear light but only , co2 pump, allen keys, set of tyre levers.
My rucksack for commuting on the hybrid has a small pump, one tube, allen keys and patches, set of tyre levers, there might be a torch in there as well. If it is raining I sometimes chuck in a dirty cloth and some lube to mickle the chain when I get to work.

pump under bottle cage. in sadle bag: co2 pump, self adhesive patch(good for tube and also inside tyre if you get a small split), multi tool with chain seperator, tube, tyre levers, chain link, rubber gloves (always always take them, especially in winter when your bike gets mucky)
