Did this yesterday. No snow in the end but a bloody chilly northerly wind!

Must say that it's a really well-organised event with great scenery. I've taken part for 8 years on and off and the organisers have retained the friendly atmosphere with a relatively small field (500 riders). Well worth a look for riders in the Wiltshire/.Oxfordshire area. At £30 entry with all profits going to Water Aid (£10,000 this year) it's a bargain IMO.
