White Van Mentality

This morning I got a left hook from a wvm but as I was going up hill (Dundas St) with a severely buckled wheel I was going pretty slow (sub 9mph) so that was no biggie.

On the way home a car went to overtake to turn left (Queen St to Dundas St). They made sure they gave me plenty of room though and in doing so crossed to the middle lane slightly. A 4x4 was in the right lane and wvm came shooting through stereo blazing and horn blazing of course the light went red and there was no where for anybody to go.

After 20secs or so wvm suddenly reverses hard in to the van behind, bang. I thought I was going to have to be a witness then noticed the bloke in the van behind was laughing. What a pair of idiots I wonder how they explained the bashed bumpers to their boss.

Sounds like Top Gear . I had some really nice WVM today, stuck behind for a miles or so at one point!

On the wheel it was only a rear spoke, it makes Dundas St hard work though

Going up Dundas St is always hard work, as for coming down, there are too many traffic lights...

Have to admit to a time when I was driving white vans for a body shop, we would sometimes have two vans to collect at a time, and on the drive back to the yard we would constantly bump into one another, we knew we were going to repairing loads of panels and replacing bumpers, so it didn't matter
