Depends who's helmet it was (looking at you Wiggins)

But in general, no.

"holes in each side of helmet from a washing machine incident"??!!!?
I knew a large number of accidents happen in the home, I guess it was lucky they were wearing it at the time they were doing the washing
Did he bypass the safety on the washing machine, then put his head inside to test the helmet?

Buy it for pennies, wear it, throw self in front of car, show it as evidence and claim compo?
No chance, it's obvious washing machine damage.

Suppose you felt like entering a cycling event where plastic hats were mandatory, but didn't feel like shelling out for one and weren't convinced about their efficacy. This one would be ideal.

My guess is he bunged it in the washing machine to clean it
It's junk now.
My guess is it fell down the back and was 'crushed' by it. Until I checked the listing I thought someone might be tempted for parts, but the strap is buggered to so I've no idea what the chancer is on. I guess they are hoping someone will think it's a bargain, missing the £10 postage fee. You'd be better off getting one from a boot fair...
