Why are Pub Info websites so C**p

Look for a pub-site reviewing local pubs, giving up to date information ie what's on or even more basic is it still trading....And......

You won't find one.... what you fill find is out of date information listing pubs that you know are shut
If you go to individual pubs websites most haven't been updated for 6 months................

Rant over....

I genuinely cant work out why the above is true.... the internet is a fantastic thing and has revolutionised both retail and leisure....... why hasn't the pub trade embraced it.....

The caskfinder app is good to find a nearby boozer, there's info as to what's on tap and stuff.

cheers for that I'll have look... Apps are probably the answer then

most of the web based pubfinders are woefully out of date.... I know some use facebook but it only works if you know the pubs its no use for finding one

The prize for most useful reply of the year.... goes to @threebikesmcginty thats a great app.. no 'whats on' but all the pubs in my vicinity shown are still open so that's a start! I will certainly be using it... especially if in a different town..
