why can't they make quick release catches that don't snap

Yet again the little clicky bit on my light has snapped admittedly I don't spend a fortune on my lights but the lights always last longer than the quick release on the mount. if it's rubber the bit tears off if it's plastic it snaps am I just hamfisted or do other people have this problem? As an aside which of these 2 would you get?

Touch wood, I've never had a problem with any of my mounts. I'd go with the Smart because I know what I'm getting there (most of my lights have been smarts) and I can fit them to my old mounts

I've got that one.

It's massively better than any other light I've used, bright and (more importantly) a better shaped beam than the torch based lights I've had.

fyi: I have found old inner tubes cut into rings to be terrific at keeping my lights on as a failsafe mechanism. They're just great to have around to help secure anything they can wrap around.

I know quite a few people who've lost their Planet Bike SuperFlashes -not me!
