My son got a letter from churchill about his renewing car insurance £1298
So I went on the comparison websites and put all his details in, and Churchill came up at £648
A quick phone call to sort it out, got him insurance for £648 and free breakdown cover.
They could not explain why the prices were so different.
My theory is, they hope people just renew, without checking to see if they can get it cheaper elsewhere.
