i have this happen around 3 times a day and now have finally had enough!!!

anyone else have this problem on there commute?

Because they don't read their Highway Code.
Had one like that this morning, and was indicating left whilst passing me! I was going left too so was beginning to slow down - you would think when I'm doing 40km/h they can hold off a couple of seconds.

My gripe is when cars overtake just to fill the convenient 2 car gap between me and the car in front.

and idiots who think that they can pass very close to you.......... but it's ok because they've slowed down!!!

Another one pointed out to me recently is when a car is passing you, it seems to temporarily slow to your speed when it draws level and then accelerates a bit to complete the pass.

National Standard says pull out into the lane when passing side-roads. Can't see meself doing that on the Hagley Road on a regular basis.

Sometimes. The worst one I had was a guy blast past me then stop about ten-yards down the road, forcing me to stop! It was a 60mph road, it was busy-ish and he hadn't left me enough time to move out to pass him.

I think that car drivers are just hopeless at judging the speed of a bike. I think they figure that bikes are so slow compared to a car that once they're past they don't need to think about you again. The idea that you might catch them up doesn't enter their tiny heads.

Occasionally, one woman even forced her way on a left filter - her bonnet was level with me, then just turned...no indication does not give you the right to knock me off.....

Shouted, nothing, slammed on and had to wait till she went past, then she got the verbals....
