Why is everybody out to get me today?

Everybody seems to be out to get me today, even those of the feathered variety!

On my way home I firstly have a close call with a juvenile seagull which decides to take off and fly in my direction as I was doing about 25mph, managed to duck down in time to avoid hitting it with my face.

Secondly a muppet in a red nissan micra (R322BLC) decides to overtake the oncoming car right in front of me. It was a very poor piece of driving and did shake me up a bit.

Thirdly I get another muppet who doesn't know how to overtake, decide to overtake me. I was following the traffic at the same speed as the traffic in primary when she decided to try and overtake and squeeze me into the kerb. I saw what she was doing and was franticly gesturing her to back off, but she was adamant that she was going to overtake anyway. Result she took up all my road space and got a load of verbal from me. Pity I didn't capture the last one on camera.

I noticed a sudden increase in bad driving this morning that may correspond to the first day of school in my local area.

There I was feeling smug as I had fitted four superflash on my rucksack and everyone was giving me a wide berth...The next night wasn't the same...Ironically the night before was a full moon...weird..

Yeah, first day back at school. You don't realize how busy these people's lives are. If they don't save 8 seconds overtaking you dangerously after dropping the kids off at school then they might miss the start of bargain hunt!

Yesterday on the way home and this morning on the way in my commute was better because of all the cars! With more cars I get overtaken a lot less and can get to the front of most queues. Shaved a few minutes off each way too.

I had two drivers today speed past me just to join a queue of stationary traffic ten metres in front of me, obviously not realising that was the reason I was slowing down.
