Why Oh Why Oh Why?

About 80% of my commute is along a fairly wide 30mph road with painted (broken lines) cycle lanes on both sides. It's well lit, and traffic is very light around 8.00am when I go to work.

This morning I saw another cyclist going slowly in the opposite direction. He was using flashing lights front and rear, helmeted, dressed in hi-viz from head to foot, and he was cycling on the pavement!

What is that all about, FFS!

He has been on this forum reading all the horror stories, so now he is too scared to go on the road

his hi-viz and lights are obviously there so that the pedestrians have no excuse for not getting out of his way in time
