We are taking our cat on a 5 day road trip next week (3000km journey). We have just bought one of those leads and collars things as it will allow us to secure the cat inside the car and allow him some movement outside the cage. It will also stop him making a dash for freedom when we open the car door. We tried it out on him, he was not impressed, but would walk with it.
