Since i took up cycling over a year ago i decided to keep a record of miles etc i've done from the first of jan this year, i'm hoping to beat last years total of 2100, i currently stand at 516mls in a time of 44hrs 55m over 45 days of cycling, anyway i was thinking does anyone else keep records or is the wife correct in saying that cycling has taken over my life and i have turned into a sad person.

Yes - mine is on excel.....for the last 3 years............. can compare miles each month over the last 3 yrs.....unfortunately, with the ice and accident off days, I am down on last year by a massive.......55 miles.......yay...only just !! And I'm already doing the longer route to work....and doing work business miles on the bike, so I should rack them up now!

Ah...I don't log commute times - that's just a steady average entered...., but training rides are logged.....so I know how well/bad I'm going....

I like to keep a record of my mileage though and other things.

It's a very fine line.... but pay heed to her.. not to some of the numpties on here who can't find wives;)

I am 'dragging' mine out on a fairly robust ride on a next weekend shiny day in N Wales..... on promise of cake . chocolate ... tea... and more chocolate...
