Legal and moral are two different things.
Not so far as tax is concerned, IMO. There is no moral imperative to pay any particular level or amount of tax, provided you arrange your affairs transparently.

Think its good PR for him to pull out of a system many think is unfair.
I would be astonished if Brad knew anything about the details in the first place. Elite athletes are notorious for having no spare attention outside their particular activity and tbh when you earn at his level you just engage whichever accountant/lawyer/shoe shiner your Agent tells you he has sorted out for you.

I find it incredible that, when people have swindled the taxman out of thousands and then get caught out, they claim that they have no money and that to pay the taxman what they owe will bankrupt them... they fail to understand that they have earned the money in the first place, on which they should have paid tax like the rest of us, but have spent it without any regard for their responsibilities. Prats.

It's not working yet.... more rice pudding required.
