I bought
these rechargable batteries a couple of weeks ago. They seem to work well. he only downside is you need to take the covers off the controllers for them to fir in. At that price I'm not complaining. I bought a similar set from an
ebay seller over a year ago. They don't sit as well intheir charger as the ones on amazon do but you can peel the covers up halfway to allow them to charge.
I bought a madcatz controller and nunchuck recently. They seem fine although we don't use them too much and mainly on child friendly games where sensitivity isn't an issue. The inbuilt speaker occasionally makes noises where it shouldn't such as on the menu page of one game we have. If I needed another I may go for the madcatc again as it seems to work and is cheaper. You do't get a silicone cover with the madcatz controller, you do with the official one.
