Will a Bold 9780 tether

Hi I need some expert advice again

Just been down to car-phone warehouse

Looking at a bold 9780 running Blackberry 6.

My adviser categorically stated that “it won't tether”

said the curve yes, but not the bold!!!!!!!

Blackberry's got an app tether-bridge for Win, but I’m running

Linux, which has a USB sniffer and Network Man.

So, has anybody got good or bad news for me.

Will it tether, that is the question?????????

Erm - have a look on some tech forums. I got my HTC Magic running Android 1.6 to tether - it's since been built into 2.2..........
