I have a good mountain bike from the 90's and still wouldn't dream of replacing it (although a heavy re-vamp wouldn't go amiss)
I bought a good hybrid 2 years ago and can't see wanting to replace it unless it breaks badly.
I bought a decent(£900) Ali road bike in summer 2011 and can't imagine wanting or needing anything 'better'.

I could easily (apart from Mrs Skol's objections) spend £2k+ on a bike but even though I have an occasional look I don't get any urges to do so. Bike lust doesn't have to be an all consuming passion!

Almost another one here. I CBA with buying anything "better" than my current bike-an alu CAAD 9. I generally replace things when they need replacing as I hate waste, albeit sometimes I buy "better" things to replace stuff with.

I am acculmulating a wide amount of clothing though. Now have 8 garments with padded inserts in them.

Lol, too true. Just do as i do and complain every week about something and get a voucher for £15 off.

Quite new to Strava mate. Had the Garmin 500 since end of August. Only thing is it pretty much makes every ride a balls out effort just in case i go through a segment.
Think i have done 50 or so rides since starting so i am happy with the KOM/podium ratio.
