Windows Vista Question.

I need to download some photos on to my laptop but it has run out of space.

The guilty party is a folder /appdata/local/temp with 2.3 GB of stuff

Can I just delete it all? what adverese effects will this have?

What the hell is it? Remember to fully delete, not just to the recycle bin. Otherwise, none whatsoever.

i'd make sure you save all files and quit all applications first, as it's probably temporary data storage or a vm cache.

delete it all, back up your docs and then reformat. Install XP Pro or 2k pro and live happily ever after!

Try googling the file name. Pound to a penny someone has written about it.

Top advice. Google is your friend.

Generally speaking, anything in 'temp' can be deleted. If you try to delete something that is currently in use, it simply won't let you. Blitz it!
