British wine.

Neither British nor wine.

Mind you it does help keep the port of Shoreham open so I shouldn't knock it.
Much more likely to be a port up north.

British wine is about as far removed from real wine and still call the product 'wine. Revolting sweetish stuff for young girlies or boyzies who want something different from RTD's.

I have a pet theory that the more guff written on the secondary label the worse it is likely to taste. If you like wine.

possibly. A lad I knew used to drive the concentrate tankers from there, to somewhere in that Lahndahn, a few years back.

British wine - is wine made in Britain from juice or concentrate from anywhere in the world.

This delightful example retails at £3.09, and is made for a Co on a small industrial estate need Edinburgh.
Definitely not to be confused with Sandy Cove Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough NZ

That looks like the modern equivalent of Liebfraumilch or Black Tower, those seventies entry-level wines "from more than one EEC country". More recently we've had Blue Nun, haven't we?
